McCadams Male and Female Athletes of the Year
The McCadams Athlete of the Year award is the top honor given to one male and one female student athlete annually. This award is named after long time Mustang Coach and Athletic Director Glen McCadams. While Coach McCadams was passionate about athletic excellence, he was resolute about academic achievement and character development. Each new team he coached would learn his philosophy on discipline, organization and focus with the ultimate goal being to better equip his athletes for life and obstacles they may face. We continue to honor his memory by naming two outstanding athletes who have also committed themselves to athletic excellence. The awards recognize one male and one female high school athlete whose careers have been exemplary, whose personal standards and achievements are a model to others, and who possess high levels of integrity, self-discipline and courage. These prestigious award winners have achieved athletic excellence and have represented their teams and school well.
